Algiers is an experimental band from Atlanta, Georgia whose lyrics are deeply historical and overtly political. The video was filmed in Bulgaria, a country that features physical reminders of a deeply contested history. They stand imposing and forlorn dotted across the countryside, looming like decaying alien spacecraft. We shot the video at Buzludzha and a few other communist monuments around Bulgaria.
