The Museum of London
The Museum Of London is on the move. We wanted to tell the extraordinary story of London and Londoners in a new museum in West Smithfield, which is itself a deeply fascinating and historic area. In the first part of a three-part series about Smithfield, the museum’s director Sharon Ament and others explain what makes the area so special and ideal for a new museum. In the second part of the series, historians and residents talk about the history of the area. In the third part we find out about Smithfield today.
